WIA Nepal Programs

Information Sessions : Contact us to attend a session on animation and visual effects training as well as career opportunities.

Grants and Scholarship Program :Attend the Information Session, after which a counselor will speak with you one-on-one about the program and possible financial assistance for education, room, and board.

Outreach: Stay tuned for announcements about outreach programs for film enthusiasts and professionals who want to learn more about animation and visual effects.

Mentorship : Participate in programs addressing challenges and opportunities for women working in the industry.

WIA Nepal Ambassadors : Let us know if you would like to become a WIA Nepal Ambassador and advocate for females in areas outside of the Kathmandu Valley.

Women In Animation, Nepal (WIA Nepal) is the first affiliate of Women In Animation, Global (WIA Global) in South Asia. WIA Nepal will champion advocacy to engage, uplift and empower women.

WIA Nepal directors and advisors met with the expat community consisting of ambassadors and development agencies. The importance of education to involve females in the growing field of animation and visual effects in Nepal was discussed.

WIA Nepal held its first outreach event on Sep 12 , 2023. Local film makers and film enthusiasts were invited to an introduction session on animation and visual effects followed by a round table discussion.
